Day 11: 11 Night Hawaii Cruise - Kauai

Apparently it's hit or miss getting into Nawiliwili Bay, Kauai --- but today was a good day and we were able to dock easily.

Once we docked and were able to get off the ship, we took a shuttle to the airport to pick up the car we had reserved. Our plans were to drive up to Waimea Canyon (Hawai's grand canyon) for the day.

The canyon was absolutely beautiful!

When we were done at the canyon, we drove back down to the beach. On the way, we found a little grocery store and picked up some snacks and drinks and went to the beach and had a bite to eat.

Jim made up a game using a coconut on the sand - kind of like bocce ball.

Jim's "art"! I had to add a bit of blue & green (Seahawks)!

Since this was the last night of this cruise, it would have been time to say goodbye to our server, Eliseo and assistant server, Iputu. But since we're going to stay on the ship for the next cruise, they will continue to be our servers next cruise as well!

Our group of four along with our servers! We'll be the same table, too!

Not all of the bags are out yet since we're early to bed tonight (around 8:30). By about 10:00 or so this hall will be full of everyone's luggage EXCEPT ours!
Sajan was a great cabin attendant. He always had a big smile on his face whenever we saw him.
