We had a continental breakfast at the hotel before the shuttle picked us up. It was scheduled for 10:00 but he arrived at 9:50 and since there were just the two of us we left right away!
There were no lines at any of the stops at the cruise terminal and since we are now Diamond members with Crown & Anchor we had priority boarding and were on board by 10:40 a.m. We found seats in the Solarium and people watched, ate lunch, etc., until our cabin (3124) was ready by 1:00 p.m.
First view of the Vision from the waiting area at the cruise terminal.
The Solarium pool.
The outside pool.
Royal Caribbean's Brilliance of the Seas docked at Terminal 3.
Our cabin. We just had a window instead of a balcony.
We muster(ed) at 4:00 at Station 16. Then had our first "Diamond" sail-away drink at the Solarium bar - strawberry colada for me and margarita for Jim --- FREE! When the Solarium bar closed, we headed to the Schooner bar for our 2nd & 3rd "Diamond" drinks! Phew, thank goodness by then it was time to eat dinner because I was about to tip over!
The Brilliance got the go ahead to leave ahead of us. Jim's waiting for it to come into view.
Here's she is!
Enjoying our drinks in the Schooner Bar waiting to cruise under the Sunshine Bridge, which is coming up!
Before.
Directly under - it is tall enough!
After.
We ate dinner in the Windjammer and were in for the night by 8:00. It was a long, hot day but we do miss our cruising buddies (Tracy, Melissa & Brenda from the U.S. and Valerie & Ian from Australia).
