Day 6: 11 Night Hawaii Cruise - At Sea

We were up early today since we set our clocks back again last night. The seas aren't so following today so it's a bit bouncier than it has been the last few days. But still not bad. I've been in much worse!

We're still enjoying our special coffee table outside the WJ every morning between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. I can't remember if I mentioned it or not, but I did see Shamus Gee at the Loyalty party and made sure and thanked him for fixing that issue. I might have to find him again the first day of the next cruise to make sure he keeps it up!

It's kind of cloudy today and definitely muggier. You can tell we're getting closer to Hawaii! I don't know when we port in Lahaina tomorrow (if it's overnight or when we're already up) but we plan on getting off the ship as soon as we can. We're going to catch the bus up to Whaler's Village in Kaanapali and maybe do some shopping, and maybe some snorkeling at Black Rock.

Captain Trym and Hotel Manager Michael did the cake making competition today in the Centrum. I've watched many of these competitions but this had to be the funniest one I've seen. The Captain really tried to keep Cruise Director Steve on his toes but pretty much covered him in whipped cream! Of course the real chef's cake was the best!

Later in the afternoon I went to the question/answer session with Captain Trym. He's quite the personable captain and fun to listen to. He likes to joke and if we don't laugh at something he says, he reminds us right away that what he said was a joke and we were supposed to laugh! He has worked with Royal Caribbean for 26 years.

After dinner, we went to the Quill & Compass club to listen to Jimmy Blakemore again. He can play/sing just about any type of music and it seems he always throws in a song or two sing along songs!

We had our third towel animal tonight.
